I just love chilling with engineers, stakeholders, and product managers every day. Sounds weird, but as a designer, they're not my foes; they're my brainstorm buddies. We cook up ideas together and tackle problems as a squad.
My favorite part about being a product designer is being able to work on complex problems and trying to simplify these problems into solutions that work for people. Since 2006, I've engaged in digital product design and development. I spend most of my days in strategic meetings and communication, either with users or internal teams such as stakeholders, product managers, and developers to solve problems and design experiences that make people's lives simpler.
Currently, I am working full-time as a Lead Product Designer at Mendix Technology BV (A Siemens business). Mendix is a low-code application development platform that enables users to build, deploy, and manage applications with minimal hand-coding and manual programming effort. The platform is designed to accelerate the development of web and mobile applications by providing a visual development environment and a set of pre-built components.
My primary role involves collaborating with stakeholders to grasp the business objectives, empathizing with users' challenges, analyzing metrics, and improving the current Cloud Deployment process, which encompasses various technical workflows such as the CICD Pipeline.
